- 2024-02-17: Complete engine rewrite under the hood to speed up filtered word parsing, closing out some minor annoyances, dramatic speedup on LARGE pastes.
- 2020-12-10: Updated some links that were pointing to dead/broken domains and removed a link to Chris Green's email, to avoid further spam.
- 2019-04-10: Google reCAPTCHA v2 is now working and enabled in the tool. This has been heavily tested, but please report any problems you encounter.
- 2016-03-21: Relocated to new domain, seo.mobilepress.org.
- 2016-03-11: Complete, ground-up rewrite of the site and functions, refactored large sections of the code to speed up parsing, tighten integration with newer PHP versions.
- 2014-01-05: Tightened up security on the object and function calls to avoid people trying to abuse the form to break out of the code. Tsk, tsk!
- 2014-01-05: Added reCAPTCHA to each form submit to stop the abuse. Thousands of hits per-hour from people reselling and using my free tool for commercial gain. Instead of blocking them at the firewall, now they need to complete the reCAPTCHA challenge.
- 2014-01-05: Completely refactored the code, more changes on the way!
- 2014-01-05: Removed the PayPal donation buttons, since nobody was donating anyway. If you want to support me, send me a gift instead!
- 2014-01-05: Removed the Google AdSense ads, they too weren't being used, clicked or helping offset the bandwidth.
- 2007-10-27: Initial first pass of SEO tool from Chris Green's original creation on keywordtool.mobilepress.org.

Credits for this idea go to Chris Green at WebCreationz UK. Chris has written a very useful tool that I've successfully used for a few years to help extract the most-frequent keywords from my pages.
I decided to improve upon Chris' work and added some new features. This version includes the ability to use pasted input, an uploaded text document (removed due to abuse), or analyzing a remote URL.
